MAYOR HICKENLOOPER’S VISIT TO MCMEEN

And Celebrating Reading is Fundamental

Mayor Hickenlooper visited McMeen today to help celebrate our Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program. 

The McMeen Band played “Happy Birthday” to Denver and presented a card to the Mayor. 

Second and third grade students read to the Mayor and also presented a cake to the Mayor

for his office.  Students also had an opportunity to ask the Mayor questions
